Farm and House

It has been a long time since I've updated with pictures, so I'll post a few.  It has been a long, hard summer, with record-breaking heat and long days with no rain.  Of course, this was the year we decided to expand our garden, I took on new work projects and we've still not finished our house and yard.  Such is life.....an adventure.

First, some reminders of what the kitchen looked like when we bought this house.  And the initial patch job just to be able to use the laundry room.

First was a new kitchen window (and throughout the house; the windows actually leaked water into the house when we hosed it down), then the demolition began.

And now to the progress of the new kitchen!!

First, some new walls and a new kitchen.

Then, some new flooring:

Cabinets, beginning to be built and put in place.

Countertops

Sink

Hood Vent

Backsplash and cooktop

Double ovens!

Trying to get everything put away.

All cleaned up and pretty.

  1. Shark Navigator Lift-Away Vacuum NV352 Review 2025, FindBestVacuums" points to a modern assessment of this specific model on the FindBestVacuums website. This 2025 review would likely highlight the NV352's core feature—its Lift-Away functionality—which allows the canister to detach from the base for portable cleaning of stairs, furniture, and above-floor areas. The analysis would probably praise its powerful suction, swivel steering for maneuverability, and effectiveness on both carpets and hard floors, positioning it as a versatile and compact solution for whole-home cleaning. It would also address its smaller dust cup capacity and corded design as considerations for potential buyers, ultimately framing it as a reliable, mid-range vacuum ideal for apartments and small to medium-sized homes.
